Understanding Direct Primary Care
Direct Primary Care replaces insurance billing for routine primary care with a transparent membership—giving you better access, more time and an ongoing relationship with a care team that knows you.
What Membership Really Provides
Membership supports an ongoing relationship with a care team that has time to know your history, respond when concerns arise and help you make informed decisions over time.
You are not simply purchasing appointments. You are creating a dependable home for preventive care, sick visits, chronic-condition management and the questions that come up between visits.

What DPC Changes for You
The difference is not simply how you pay. It is how easily you can access, understand and participate in your care.
Same- or next-day visits are available when clinically appropriate and scheduling allows.
Longer visits create room to understand the full story and make thoughtful decisions together.
Members can communicate with the care team by phone, text and app when questions arise.
Preventive, acute and chronic care remain part of one ongoing clinical relationship.
Routine primary care does not come with separate visit copays or surprise office charges.
When outside testing, specialty care or emergency care is needed, we help you understand what comes next.

Why the Model Matters
Because care is funded through membership instead of insurance billing, we can protect more time for the work that supports thoughtful primary care.
DPC and Insurance
Direct Primary Care handles routine primary care. Insurance remains important for major, unexpected and outside medical expenses.
Is DPC a Good Fit for You?
DPC may be a good fit when you value access, communication, predictable primary-care costs and an ongoing relationship with one care team.
